President’s Message

Welcome to Sevagad: The Sacred birthplace of Santh Sri Sevalal Maharaj

It is with immense humility and devotion that I welcome you to the official digital home of the Santh Sri Sevalal Maharaj Charitable Trust.

Santh Sri Sevalal Maharaj, the revered spiritual light and eternal guide of the Banjara community, blessed this earth with his birth at Ramji Naik Thanda (Gooty Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh). Today, millions of devotees cherish this holy ground globally as ‘Sevagad.’

To protect this sacred heritage, the late Poojary Ranjit Naik visionary established this Trust in 2001, securing 44 acres of this pristine, holy land. Recognizing its profound spiritual significance, the All India Banjara Seva Sangh (AIBSS) later unanimously designated this holy site as ‘Sevagad.’ Today, we carry that flame forward.

Our Core Objectives

The Trust functions with a sacred mandate to protect our roots while empowering our future. Our core mission stands on four pillars:

  • Preserving Holy Heritage: Protecting, developing  and maintaining the sacred historical sites of Kalokundo, Bhima Naik Katta, and Ramji Thanda.
  • Spiritual Upkeep: Maintaining the divine temples of Santh Sevalal Maharaj, Matha Jagadamba, and Hanuman with utmost reverence.
  • Global Recognition: Elevating Sevagad into a world-class International Cultural and Spiritual Centre for the entire Banjara community.
  • Cultural Legacy: Safeguarding, documenting, and celebrating the rich, vibrant traditions and unique culture of the Banjaras for generations to come.
Our Vision for Tomorrow: Ambitious Future Plans

Sevagad is evolving. We are actively working on a master plan to transform this holy site into a thriving hub of spirituality, wellness,cultural  and community growth. Our upcoming projects include:

  • Pilgrim Infrastructure: Constructing modern dormitories and comfortable guest houses to warmly welcome pilgrims from all over the world.
  • Mega Dining Hall (Annadan Shala): Building a massive dining facility to serve Anna Prasadam to the pilgrims 
  • Holistic Health & Nature: Creating a Herbal Garden and establishing a state-of-the-art Wellness Centre to provide quality healthcare to the populations visiting  Sevagad.
  • Youth Empowerment: Developing a dedicated Skill Development Centre to equip our youth with modern vocational skills and job opportunities.
  • Sacred Spaces & Welfare: Establishing a traditional Goshala ,constructing a Sapta Matrika Temple, and creating  a beautiful children’s park for visiting families.
